This page summarizes RGV's standards. The latest rules posted in the official Discord regulations remain the controlling server rules. Discord, Roblox, and ER:LC policies also apply.
TERMS OF USE
Participation is a privilege.
By joining, accessing, or participating in Rio Grande Valley Roleplay, you agree to follow these policies, the current server regulations, and all applicable Discord, Roblox, and Emergency Response: Liberty County rules.
- Use accurate account information and do not impersonate another member, staff member, department, or organization.
- Do not misuse RGV services, tickets, transcripts, branding, systems, or community spaces.
- Do not evade moderation through alternate accounts or encourage another person to violate community rules.
- RGV may update its policies when necessary. Continued participation after an update means you accept the revised rules.
- RGV is an independent roleplay community and is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or Police Roleplay Community.
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Keep the Valley safe and respectful.
Do not request, expose, threaten to expose, or distribute another person's private information. Never post passwords, tokens, addresses, or other sensitive details.
Exploiting, hacking, bug abuse, disruptive gameplay, and intentional failure to roleplay are prohibited. Follow the current in-game regulations during every session.
Players must remain in the designated server voice channel while actively playing unless staff approves otherwise. Do not disconnect or mute to avoid roleplay.
Do not spam, raid, phish, distribute malware, run scams, advertise without approval, or impersonate official RGV communications.
Cooperate with authorized staff, use the proper appeal or assistance process, and do not interfere with investigations or moderation actions.

ER:LC COMPLIANCE
We follow ER:LC community standards.
RGV follows the official ER:LC Community Guidelines. This includes prohibiting exploiting or hacking, dangerous or illegal material, doxing, misuse of personal information, and content that promotes illegal activity or self-harm.
RGV does not sell access to in-game vehicles, weapons, teams, uniforms, liveries, perks, or ranks. Community liveries and advertisements must comply with the applicable ER:LC livery and advertisement requirements.
PRIVACY & RECORDS
Share only what support needs.
RGV may retain Discord and Roblox identifiers, ticket transcripts, moderation records, and related evidence when reasonably necessary to operate support, enforce rules, prevent abuse, or review appeals.
Do not submit sensitive personal information through tickets or public channels. Ticket content may be visible to authorized faculty members and may be preserved in RGV's transcript system.

ENFORCEMENT
Actions are based on safety and severity.
Violations may result in content removal, warnings, session removal, role restrictions, suspension, or a permanent ban. RGV may act immediately when conduct threatens community safety, systems, or member privacy.
Members should use the official assistance or appeal process to challenge an action. Attempts to bypass a decision may result in additional enforcement.
